Praying with and For our Children starting in the feast of a John the Baptist, Tuesday 24th June, there will be the first of what will hopefully be monthly prayer services focused upon the children of our parish. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to a child focused prayer service starting at 18:00. These monthly prayer sessions will help strengthen our family bond as a parish. The children will learn some simple prayers and a few simple songs as well as exploring a little bit of scripture. It is, in essence, the Liturgy of the Word for children, but we hope that parents, grandparents, and other adults will come and support by praying alongside the children.

CORPUS CHRISTI 2025 DEANERY PROCESSION AT OXBURGH HALL Sunday 22nd June at 3pm. At the kind invitation of The National Trust and Sir Henry and Lady Bedingfeld, our celebration of Corpus Christi the Annual Deanery Procession at Oxburgh Hall. Everyone is invited and I would encourage as many as possible to attend this wonderful event. Entry to the grounds and chapel is free on presentation of a ticket, which will be available from all Sunday Masses this weekend.

Children's Mass Bags We are very pleased to announce that the Children's Mass Bags are now available in the Children's Corner (at the back of the church). They are available for you to use with your children during the Mass. The bags include a story book, a cross to hold, a small prayer book, a rosary, some special pictures and a few activity ideas. Please use these together to help your child/children pray with you during Mass. We ask you to help look after these bags, by putting all the contents back in the bag at the end of Mass and returning it to the special hooks provided. We hope you will find these helpful. If you are able to donate any other books of prayers and stories which can be included in the bags, please give them to Father Caulfield or Karen Wright

Parish Open Forum
There will be an open Forum in Mid July, times and date yet to be confirmed. Among the items on the agenda will be the future of the parish and its facilities. The use of St Joseph’s Hall, which will be available in the Autumn following the surrender of the lease by the Rosmini Centre Trust. (Please Note the Building is and always has been St Joseph’s Parish Hall and it shall resume this correct title in September. All activities and business associated with the Rosmini Centre will remain the responsibility of the Charity and not the Parish.) Arrangements are being made for a celebration to mark the handover of the building at which the parish will have an opportunity to thank Anita and her team. If anyone wishes to assist with these preparations, please contact Fr Caulfield in writing.

Volunteers Needed As faithful servants of the parish grow older there is a need for younger people to step forward and help. There are a variety of tasks requiring people who can help with including accounting/bookkeeping, catering, training altar servers, catechetics. If you can provide an hour or two a week to help, please contact Fr Caulfield in writing.
